ALIGN

Align with your body and breath, create a strong foundation, and find balance through thoughtful movement in this challenging class. If you like more direction and alignment cues to breakdown postures, ALIGN will ensure you are moving safely in and out of each pose. This class offers a more traditional approach. Accessible for all levels, with options for a more or less energetic groove. 


AROMA YOGA

This special event is offered monthly and is specifically designed for those who are interested in adding the use of pure essential oils to their yoga practice. Each month will have a different theme and essential oils interwoven into class.  The practice ranges from restorative/yin to a gentle flow or stretching class. If you are a student who enjoys the smell of essential oils this class is for you. Accessible for all levels.


ASHTANGA

This class follows a dynamic sequence of poses designed to stretch, strengthen, and detoxify your body. In this supportive and welcoming class, students will get the opportunity to practice the Ashtanga Yoga sequence, expect to sweat and be challenged! Class will follow a Half-Primary Ashtanga Series. Some simple hands on adjustments will be offered, and modifications of poses will be shown for all ability levels.  Sanskrit posture names and counts are used as much as possible. The technique and theory will be explained and experienced.  This class will give you the opportunity to flow, breathe, and sweat at a mellow pace.  


BASICS

New to yoga? This class guides students through the building blocks of a variety of foundational yoga poses. The focus is on standing postures and their alignment and modifications for those new and injured. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be willing to try!


CHAIR

Chair yoga is a great practice for anyone wanting to improve balance, strength, flexibility, and an overall sense of well being. Practice sitting in the chair or standing, using the chair for support. A perfect option for those who can't or choose not to get down on a mat, students engage body, mind, and spirit with a focus on breath throughout. Each practice ends with Savasana and meditation. 


FLOW

This class provides a new approach to an ancient practice. FLOW combines simple yoga postures, light meditation with an inspirational spirit to take with you off-the-mat. Sync your movement with your breath and feel the FLOW. Accessible for all levels, with options for a more or less energetic groove. 


GENTLE

A calming, stress-relieving practice to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. With a focus on connecting breath to movement, this class is ideal for yoga beginners or those who prefer a calm, quieter practice.


NIDRA

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is one aspect of pratyahara yoga practice. The entire practice is performed lying on your back, in Savasana. The teacher will guide you through a practice, which includes setting a sankalpa, a rotation of consciousness through the entire body, an awareness of breath, feelings, and sensations, and a short visualization. 


RELAX

Chill out with us. Bringing together elements of yin and restorative yoga, guided meditation, and breathwork, RELAX will encourage you to release stress, center the mind, and relax the body. Find a state of pure consciousness and peace within. With a slow healing vibe, this class is idea for yoga beginners or those who prefer a more meditative practice.


RESTORE

This is a relaxing yoga practice. RESTORE offers supportive postures using lots of props and cushions to ease your body into a state of pure relaxation. We generally move through 5-10 poses supported by props. Very little movement is required. Class attendance is limited because of props required; therefore, we require payment upon booking.


GENTLE+ MEDITATE

 

Gentle yoga with intentional focus on breath and mindfulness. Preparing the body for meditation, we’ll transition from gentle movement to sitting; settling the body into its natural state, shifting attention to the breath, then the mind. A perfect start for those new to meditation. 


YIN

This is a natural, healing practice, that focuses on the connective tissue. Based on these principles, YIN uses passive postures held for longer periods of time to allow for deep opening in the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. This class may also serve as an introduction to meditative practice while safely connecting with your body in a new way.
