CONNECT WITH THE NATURAL RHYTHM OF THE EARTH AND SKY

In Yoga, the moon’s lunar energy is associated with the left side of the body, considered feminine, cool, slow, and relaxing. In contrast, the sun’s solar energy is associated with the right side of the body, considered masculine, warm, fast, energizing and disciplined. Taking time to attune to moon rhythm creates space in the mind to re-center and embrace peace, clarity, and renewal. At each full moon, the intensity of lunar light and energy is at its greatest. In peaceful connection to gratitude and awareness at this time, profound clarity is available to guide us in what to let go, creating space for new, fresh, energy and light in the next cycle of life.

All levels are encouraged and welcome to attend. An eye pillow or face covering is recommended.


We will open with a brief meditation, followed by the Chandra Namaskar (gentle moon salutations), and finish with calming restorative poses.
